OUR STORY

The Beginning

Trelex Construction was founded by two lifelong friends who first met in middle school. Over the years, we developed a strong bond, working together as a team in everything from academics to sports—and eventually becoming brothers-in-law. Sharing similar interests, we discovered a mutual passion for construction. Driven by the desire to do what we love while building something of our own, we set out to create a company founded on collaboration, craftsmanship, and dedication. With a clear vision and a solid plan, Trelex Construction was born.

The Plan

Success in the construction industry doesn’t happen overnight, but we built Trelex Construction on a foundation of hard work, dedication, and strategic planning. Our journey began with a commitment to excellence, starting with formal training at Wake Tech Community College, where we honed our skills and developed a deep understanding of the craft. At the same time, we took on projects to expand our expertise and build lasting relationships with clients. Balancing full-time jobs, education, and growing our business required discipline and perseverance, but these early efforts helped us build the reputation and experience that Trelex Construction is proud of today.

At Trelex Construction, we proudly serve the tri-city area, focusing on residential construction as the cornerstone of our business. While our current projects are rooted in creating exceptional homes for our clients, we are strategically planning for growth and diversification. Our long-term vision includes expanding our services into commercial construction, allowing us to bring the same dedication, craftsmanship, and attention to detail to a broader range of projects.
